Earn extra Clubcard points on Facebook when you ‘Share & Earn’
Savvy online shoppers will have the chance to earn double Clubcard points by using Facebook to like, share and buy products with Tesco direct as part of an innovative new four week trial.
In a first from the UK’s biggest online retailer, customers can double the amount of Clubcard points they receive for products they purchase by also liking and sharing it with their Facebook friends.
Matthew Entwistle, Marketing Director for General Merchandise Online from Tesco, said “More and more of our customers are using Facebook to chat about and recommend products they like from Tesco direct. And we know our customers also like to collect extra Clubcard points, so we’re really pleased to offer them a fantastic way to do both things at the same time. It’s our way of saying thanks for supporting us online.”
Customers who want to take advantage of the deal must register for the ‘Share & Earn’ facebook app. This can be done through Tesco’s Facebook page and customers can then post any products they ‘Like’ to their Facebook wall. If their friends buy those products after clicking through that Facebook post, both the ‘sharer’ and the purchaser will earn the Clubcard points for that purchase.

- Free ‘Click and Collect ‘ is available from over 800 stores in the UK
- There is a maximum reward limit of 7,500 Clubcard points per customer for the four week trial
