Robin Terrell began his career with PwC where he qualified as an accountant and gained experience working in business assurance in the UK and California. In 1998 he joined Dell, where he worked as Finance Director, Global Enterprise Program EMEA, before joining Amazon in 1999. During his six years at Amazon, Robin held general management roles in the books and media categories before becoming VP & Managing Director, with responsibility for Amazon's UK and French businesses. Robin left Amazon to become COO of Figleaves.com, a role he occupied between 2005 and 2008. He took on the role of Managing Director of John Lewis Direct in 2008, and has most recently worked for House of Fraser since 2010 as Executive Director of Multi-Channel.
