Community Promises

The five pillars of our corporate responsibility strategy, which we call Community Promises are:

  1. Actively supporting local communities

We want to be a good neighbour in all the communities in which we operate.

  2. Buying and selling products responsibly

This means ensuring everyone in our supply chain is treated honestly and fairly, and that care is taken to minimise the impact our products have on the environment.

  3. Caring for the environment

As one of the world's leading retailers, we have a clear responsibility - and a significant opportunity - to protect our environment.

  4. Providing customers with healthy choices

As a global business, we know that 'healthy lives' means different things in our different markets.

  5. Creating good jobs and careers
