Tesco's Technology Partner Event seeks to collaborate & innovate
28 June 2016
Three years ago, Tesco Technology introduced a Partner Relations Programme to increase collaboration and innovation with key technology partners. Toni Lord, Head of Technology Partner Relations has organised their 3rd annual event to share our Technology Vision and Strategy as well as inviting key speakers from the business to talk about their challenges and plans for the next year. The Tesco Technology Partners find the event invaluable as it provides them with insight into our business and technology needs so that they can consider how their business can align and work closer with Tesco.
This year’s event will take place at our new Head Office in Welwyn Garden City on Wednesday 29th June. Colleagues from nearly 50 of our key partners will be in attendance. This is a fantastic opportunity for our partners to collaborate with each other and the Tesco Leadership Team.
The morning will have a technology focus, with our CTO, Edmond Mesrobian sharing our technology vision, followed by Mike Yorwerth providing an update on our strategy.
The afternoon has a business focus with presentations from Robin Terrell CCO, Allan Lyall, Adrian Letts and Anthony Vollmer with the audience having an opportunity to ask questions.
Finally, Atul Bhardwaj will present awards to a select few individuals for Project Delivery, Outstanding Service, Individual Achievement, Account Director of the Year and the most sought after award of Partner of the Year.
Tesco Technology firmly believes in the need to work closer with our partners to provide better collaboration and innovation so that we can ensure we are serving our colleagues and Britain’s shoppers a little better every day.
