Underpinning our actions in the three key pillars of the Little Helps Plan, are a number of areas where we remain committed to doing the right thing. For example, climate change, packaging, product safety and quality and health and safety.
It’s right to make sure we tread lightly, minimising our impact on the environment through reducing our carbon emissions and packaging. In doing so, we are taking positive steps to becoming a zero carbon business through energy and refrigeration efficiency and the switching to renewable energy in 2017. In addition, our commitment to finding more sustainable packaging solutions still continues to be a priority with the aim of reducing environmental impact and also ensuring the safety and quality of products we sell.
Other areas such as maintaining product safety and quality, ensuring a culture of health and safety, and safeguarding the personal information of our customers are equally important. Together these represent core expectations of our stakeholders and are embedded in the way we do business.
