I have worked in the UK food industry for over 25 years, starting out as a commodity trader. Today I works across a portfolio of food businesses including meat protein, fresh bakery, natural beverages and Social Enterprise.

Having worked in large business for many years, I was delighted to be appointed as Chair of Community Interest Company, Liberation Foods. Liberation is a small company with a big mission to ‘Bring nut producers and consumers of the world together so that everyone gets a better deal’. I support the team, communicate with external partners, the board and Kate Gaskell, MD, who leads the team and is a great individual from whom I’ve learnt much already.

Outside work, I’ve for many years worked with a leading charity and a smaller community based group to support and campaign on eliminating homelessness; I consider myself very lucky and able to make choices and this work keeps me grounded and humble.

I live in London and enjoy the arts, music and indulging my passion for food!
