Graham Duxbury

Graham grew up in Lancashire watching Groundwork deliver projects to improve local neighbourhoods and educate children about the importance of leading more sustainable lives. It took him thirty years but he finally got chance to work for the organisation he admired in 1998, becoming chief executive in 2014.

Graham is responsible for Groundwork’s national relationships – with government, with business and with charity partners – and for ensuring national relationships add value to Groundwork’s local projects in communities across the UK.

Graham has a background in communications and is a passionate advocate of building a powerful public message about the need to mobilise communities to improve and manage the environment on their doorstep.
