Lucy Neville-Rolfe, Executive Director of Tesco Plc said:

“This is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts are with the people of Japan at this difficult time. Happily our staff and stores in Japan have been relatively unaffected, but many have friends or relatives in the affected regions and we share their sorrow.”

Tesco’s partnership with the British Red Cross was established in 2009 to ensure we can respond to crises around the world quickly and mobilise the resources of our business in the most effective way.
