Charles Metcalfe, Co-Chair of the IWC commented, “Once again the UK’s supermarkets have proven that they can deliver a huge range of choice for an equally impressive range of tastes, palates and budgets. It’s also good to see their own-label brands doing so well. We’d definitely advise consumers to check these out. Many of these are made with some of the world’s top winemakers, so a great chance to find some world-class wines.”
