The Tesco Eat Happy Project, in partnership with the Children’s Food Trust, have released a series of online cooking videos for the summer holidays called “Let’s Cookalong”, to encourage children to get cooking and learn about their food.

Farah and child cooking kebabs

The themed videos, the first of which were launched in July, inform children about foods from around the globe, encouraging them to experience their food through smelling, touching and tasting ingredients, as well as teaching them practical skills like chopping and grating.

Each video, presented by trained cook and mum of two Farah, is easy to follow and can be paused when necessary so parents and guardians can cook along at their own pace, at a time that’s most convenient for them.

There’s a mix of meals, snacks and drinks to choose from with multiple activities, games and certificates to accompany the videos, all of which are free to download on our website tesco.com/eathappyproject
