Becoming Signatories of the United Nations Global Compact

27 Jan 2016

We are pleased to announce that we have become signatories of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) – an initiative that encourages businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, and to report on their implementation. The initiative is centred on a commitment to ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour rights, environment and anti-corruption.

Becoming signatories of the UNGC is another sign of our commitment to these areas and we are proud of the action we have taken to date. Ensuring that we have responsible supply chains and have a positive impact on the communities we serve and source from is integral to ensuring we have a sustainable business.

Signing up to the UNGC reinforces our commitment to transparency and high standards across our supply chain. We have also committed to reporting on our progress against the ten principles as part of our annual corporate responsibility reporting.
