Over the years, our involvement in Race for Life has gone from strength to strength. Since 2002, more than 370,000 colleagues and customers have taken part, raising millions towards vital research into over 200 types of cancers that affect men, women and children.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Race for Life events for 2020 have been cancelled, but the team at Cancer Research UK has been developing virtual events and we are delighted to support Race for Life at Home!
Why Race for Life at Home?
Those with underlying health conditions need our support more than ever, so we want to continue to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK, whilst maintaining social distancing, to help beat cancer. By taking part in Race for Life at Home, participants will also be supporting their own physical wellbeing.
Anyone can take part at home by setting an exercise challenge, or making it part of their daily exercise routine. It could be as easy as jogging around the garden, or lunging in your living room. Whether you do 5ks worth of exercise, or a few reps – it’s just about getting involved. Hop, skip, jump or twerk your way to beating cancer either on your own, or with those in your household.
