We’re proud to support the #ClassofCovid

Just over a year ago we launched our ambition to help 45,000 young people jumpstart their careers and build employability skills. We pledged to do this through offering a wide range of roles and young people programmes in our business, and through our partnership with The Prince’s Trust.

We set ourselves the ambitious target of a year to achieve this, and we’re proud to say, thanks to our work with the Trust and our other partners we’ve already helped over 50,000 young people this year alone.

There’s more work to do and we won’t stop here – we have another four years of partnership with the Trust with the ambition of reaching 200,000 young people most in need. Over the next year we will support additional Achieve Clubs in secondary schools across the UK, providing confidence-building and skills development programmes, resources to support mental health and wellbeing, and further volunteering opportunities for our colleagues.

We’re proud to support the Trust’s new campaign #ClassofCovid, focused on bringing awareness to the challenges these young people face. Watch the campaign video, starring Top Boy star Ashley Walters, above.

Since the Trust was founded by then The Prince of Wales in 1976 they have helped more than a million young people across the UK, and three in four of those they’ve supported over the last five years have moved into work, education or training. We’re proud to support them, and to continue to support the #ClassofCovid.
